As an optional accessory for the M Series, the Whisper Cap simply baffles the noise that comes from the air intake/filter area at the back of your machine.
Respironics internal testing of the M-Series Whisper Cap Filter produces sound levels at a 3 dB decrease.
The device fits onto your existing Air Intake Port and over the filters.
